This project was a form of architectural research, where I set out to capture both the small, intricate details and the larger, grand structures that define Old Cairo. Every door, arch, and pattern tells a story, and I wanted to showcase how the city's architecture blends history, craftsmanship, and culture into a seamless visual experience.

Final Thoughts

Walking through Old Cairo with a camera in hand was an incredible experience, allowing me to see the city in a new light. Paying attention to both macro and micro details—from weathered facades to ornate carvings—reminded me how photography is not just about capturing places but about documenting the stories they hold.
